The Daniel Sancho case continues to make headlines. This week, a member of Edwin Arrieta’s family visited our country with a view to shedding light on what happened. This is Darlin, the sister of the Colombian surgeon murdered allegedly at the hands of Daniel Sancho.

The victim’s sister has gone to Mañaneros, where she has revealed a most heartbreaking detail: a letter that the family received from Rodolfo Sancho, father of the surgeon’s alleged confessed murderer.

“Hello, Darlin, I am Rodolfo Sancho, father of Daniel Sancho. First of all I want to give my deepest condolences to you and your entire family, my soul is with you. I do not have words to express the pain I feel with this situation, I do not want to I can’t even imagine what you are feeling. You don’t know how sorry I am, I’m devastated,” the interpreter begins by revealing.

Faced with this emotional letter, Darlin accepted the actor’s apology: “I thank him and accept his condolences. God will take care of all this,” said Edwin’s sister after learning that Rodolfo had indeed been the author of the text after the arrest of his son Daniel.

“It is obvious, he had some type of psychotic break or that he had some mental illness that had never surfaced,” Rodolfo writes, dispelling doubts. “But, without a doubt, there is no excuse or forgiveness for what he has done,” admits the father of the alleged murderer, given the complicated situation they are having to face.

The letter ends with a very personal message, in which the interpreter asks Edwin’s family to “sooner or later” find “peace” in their hearts. “I don’t know if I will find it again,” he admits. Rodolfo, who concludes the text with his “deepest condolences.” “I am at your disposal. R, S,” he writes.

Rodolfo Sancho traveled to the Asian country to visit his son in Koh Samui prison, but he has already returned to Fuerteventura with the aim of not harming Daniel Sancho during the trial. Sancho understands that his presence in the country was harming his son due to media pressure, something that could lead to a diplomatic conflict between the two countries.
