A 38-year-old man died this Wednesday, around 7:30 p.m., when he was hit by a Cercanías train on the Santander-Puente San Miguel route near the Otero level crossing, between the towns of Adarzo (Santander). ) and Bezana (Santa Cruz de Bezana).
Adif reports that it is a level crossing with semi-barriers that “worked correctly.” During the rest of the afternoon, track 2 remained closed until after nine at night, when rail traffic returned to normal after the body was removed.
