This Monday the 18th, TardeAR, Telecinco’s new afternoon program with Ana Rosa Quintana as the protagonist, officially began. After the controversial end of Sálvame, the presenter takes over the afternoon slot with a program aimed at heartfelt and current affairs.

In its premiere, in addition to paying tribute to television and some of its most legendary presenters, Quintana has delved into the drama between Josep Santacana and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, who are currently still in the middle of a judicial battle.

According to Paloma Barrientos, the businessman is not going to take on the crime of which his ex-partner accuses him because he claims not to be guilty: “In addition, the businessman has not agreed to make an agreement with the prosecutor’s office like Arantxa,” says the journalist.

Santacana commented on what happened in a telephone interview where he was honest: “I’ve been dragging this on for a long time and I want to end it and start another life,” says the accused.

The journalist took the opportunity to ask him about the decision not to agree with the prosecutor’s office, to which Santacana responded: “I don’t see it as fair that I can be punished for acts that I haven’t done or that they ask me for money that I don’t have.”

Likewise, Barrientos has asked about the famous ‘green card’ to reside in the United States, which is usually given to people who do not have problems with the law, to which Santacana responds: “This scam is all a setup to try to create a character because they were interested in this sense, but I didn’t pay attention to these things.”

With a view to defending himself, the businessman concludes forcefully: “The visa to come to the United States has been through me, for my entire business resume, and thank God I had not had any problems with justice, the Treasury, Social Security or anything. “Let this end as soon as possible to turn a new page.”
