The case of Daniel Sancho continues to monopolize all the spotlights due to the shock it has caused in society. Rodolfo Sancho’s son remains in prison in Koh Samui, Thailand, since he confessed to having murdered and dismembered Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta. And there is a lot of new information that emerges every week.
The victim’s sister, Darlin Arrieta, gave her first live interview from Spain for the Mañaneros program and assured that they will not rest until they find justice for their relative. Shortly after, she discovered that the actor had contacted them, and she did not hesitate to reveal these words.
After Daniel Sancho confessed to having committed the crime, Rodolfo Sancho wanted to send a letter to Edwin Arrieta’s family. “Hello, Darlin, I am Rodolfo Sancho, father of Daniel Sancho. First of all, I want to give my deepest condolences to you and your entire family, my soul is with you,” he began to say.
In this same writing, he wanted to clarify what for him could be the reason why his son murdered and dismembered the surgeon. “It’s obvious, he had some kind of psychotic break or that he had some mental illness that had never surfaced,” said the actor. And it is important for the actor to find a reasoning for everything that happened.
But it was not the only thing he wanted to convey to the family. “I don’t have words to express the pain I feel with this situation, I don’t even want to imagine what you are feeling. You don’t know how sorry I am, I’m devastated,” he said. Likewise, he expressed his wish that they end up finding “peace” in his hearts.
Given these words, Darlin Arrieta was clear: “I thank Rodolfo and accept his condolences. God will take care of all this. In addition, I will tell my parents that the message is from Mr. Rodolfo Sancho.”
Although Daniel Sancho is in prison for an alleged murder and dismemberment, it is not the first time he has had problems. During these weeks, various complicated episodes in the life of the accused have come to light, but in the last hours it was revealed that he was expelled from a tennis club when he was only 15 years old.
“He had another problem with a club member and they expelled him for a few months. I think it was between 3 and 6 months,” a member revealed to the Investigation Team. A sanction in which he tried to mediate his father, without being able to reverse the consequences. For his part, the complainant wanted to make clear his “bad manners” towards him.
