The Burning Body has become the series of the moment. The Netflix production starring Úrsula Corberó and Quim Gutiérrez has brought back to the news the media crime of the Barcelona Urban Police and the love triangle formed by Rosa Peral, Albert López and Pedro Rodríguez.

Since it premiered on September 8, the series has not stopped making headlines, most of them by the former agent of the Barcelona Urban Police, who this week has charged against Corberó. “The protagonist of the series said that it was a role that had been difficult for her to do because it was a very toxic role. Tell me, at what point was I judged as toxic or non-toxic? There is no sentence in which I am condemned for toxic or non-toxic,” he said in one of the interviews granted in recent days, where he also assured that they are trying to sink it.

The series has tried to take great care of every detail of what happened in 2017, as well as the years before the crime. The protagonist’s looks in the purest Y2K style are especially appealing, as well as her wedding dress, which although there is no record of how Peral dressed that day, Corberó appears in the episode with a design by Rosa Clará.

Of the different outfits that the actress wears in the series, there are two that are practically identical to those that the former agent wore at the time. The first of them is the set of the recreation of the crime in the house where Rosa and Albert killed Pedro in May 2017.

After their arrest, the Mossos d’Esquadra took the lovers to the house to explain what happened that night. That day, Rosa was wearing a white shirt with a black striped print combined with black pants and her long straight hair.

A look that Úrsula looks exactly the same, with a shirt that is very similar to the one the condemned woman wore, with the collar also open. The difference is in the sleeves, since Peral that day wore them rolled up and Corberó appears with long sleeves buttoned.

Another outfit that is not identical but is similar is the one worn by the protagonist in one of the trial sessions. Those days, the accused appeared at the Barcelona Court with several sets of blazer and shirt, an outfit that Corberó wears, in addition to a blouse, with a black turtleneck.

Úrsula’s beauty look as Rosa has also been highly applauded. In addition to sporting long black hair parted on one side, the very natural makeup, just playing with the use of different lipsticks, especially red, has made the resemblance between the two even more amazing.
