The Torró and Chocolate Fair at Pedrade Agramunt (Lleida) will celebrate its 34th edition on October 7 and 8 with the aim of consolidating the activity around the market square.

In this sense, the organization has doubled the pairings in the chocolate and wine classroom, has expanded the offer of family games from ten in the morning to nine at night and has enhanced the singer-songwriter space with a second music session live. Likewise, the tasting room will present a new format to guarantee interaction between producers and visitors.

Tamara Lombardo, director of the Fair, explained this Thursday this year’s news. One of them is ‘the change of course of the Torronaire d’Honor’. This year it will be an event on Saturday night and the Turronaire d’Honor will be Mr. Postu, the popular influencer from Lleida who hides under an Aplec del Caragol hat and a Spiderman mask.

“According to the nougat producers, we have sought a more media-oriented approach and we will look for people who are committed to the dissemination of our territory,” Lombardo stated.

On Saturday the 7th, at 11 am, Jordi Cuixart, former president of Òmnium Cultural, will open the fair.

Among the participants in this edition, the organization has highlighted Lucas Crusellas, recognized as the best chocolatier in the world in the prestigious international World Chocolate Masters competition; Rafa Delgado, head pastry chef at Can Jubany; Miguel Guarro pastry director of the Hoffman and Libertad Santiago School of Efímera Chocolates.
