The Civil Guard has arrested a 26-year-old man for hitting and destroying material from the Palma airport, as well as shouting and threatening the employees of an airline with which he had contracted the flight, who asked him to pay for the suitcase he was carrying. , as reported by El Diario de Mallorca.
The man was at the boarding gate to travel early in the morning to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The employees had also previously told him that he would not get on the plane because he was under the influence of alcohol, indicates the Balearic newspaper.
At that moment, the passenger was violent and aggressive, destroying all the furniture that was in the boarding area. In the images captured by other passengers, the man threatens the employees, who protect themselves behind a glass door to avoid being attacked. Furthermore, he tries to break one of the windows in the airport’s boarding area.
The Civil Guard at Palma airport has detained the passenger and detained him for a crime of damage, injuries and public disorder.
