Apple wants to make the premium range its flagship. The iPhone 15 Pro goes much further than the normal iPhone 15 and they also do so while containing prices compared to previous generations. Everything about the Pro is extreme: from a design with titanium edges, to a powerful chip like no other, at the moment, in the mobile industry, and a very complete photographic package that improves the already excellent features of the previous models. The presentation also marked the farewell to the Lightning connector, launched 11 years ago, and the adoption, forced by the European Union, of USB-C.

As expected, the top of the range models are the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The first has a 6.1-inch screen and the second 6.7. The titanium bezel, with rounded edges, has a brushed texture. .

The iPhone 15 Pro has a powerful chip called A17 Pro, which is the first in the world to be launched with 3 nanometer technology (a nanometer is one billionth of a meter). It contains 19 billion transistors. USB-C on Pro models has data transfer of up to 10 gigabits per second.

The main photographic novelty is that Apple has installed a periscopic lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which allows it to reach up to 5x magnification. The Pro can also take three-dimensional photographs using two of its sensors to be viewed with the Vision Pro viewer presented last June.

The iPhone 15 (6.1 inches) and 15 Plus (6.7 inches) inherit the excellent A16 Bionic chip from the iPhone 14 Pro and the Dynamic Island, which takes advantage of the dark area that hides the front camera and facial identification sensors to establish a dynamic zone for notifications and applications that run in the background. The iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen.

The iPhone 15 Pro will be priced from 1,219 euros and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available from 1,469 euros. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus from 959 euros and 1,109 euros.

Apple also presented the second generation Apple Watch Ultra. It will cost 899 euros. The Apple Watch Series 9 will be available from 449 euros and the Apple Watch SE will have a starting price of 279 euros.
