First Dates has become the perfect enclave for hundreds of people to try to find their ideal partner. On Thursday night, viewers of the Cuatro program witnessed a series of dates between different diners, who came with the hope of enjoying an unforgettable night. But as is customary within the four walls of the restaurant, not everyone manages to leave the place in the best of company.
One of the first singles to cross the doors of the establishment was Jacobo, a 44-year-old man from Alicante who confessed as soon as he arrived that his great passion was motorcycles. ”They call me ‘The Last of the Mohicans’, I’m a 100% biker,” he declared. In his free time, he would go on the road with his motorcycle to ‘release tension’ and escape from stress. However, his life as a biker was not being effective in love. ”I don’t flirt. A biker needs his biker. Someone who likes to accompany you on the routes,’ he said.
His date was Anahí, a 38-year-old Valencian who confessed to being a woman who always attracted attention. ”What I want is to be loved,” she declared. Likewise, she emphasized that she was looking for something “different” away from the ordinary. As soon as she entered the restaurant, Anahí was greatly disappointed. ”I see it and it pulls me back,” she said. An impression that had nothing to do with Jacobo’s. ”She has a good line, she has power, she’s fine,” confessed the bachelor.
After exchanging their first words, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about their past love stories. Jacobo said that he had had four serious relationships and that he was not a hummingbird. A confession that the single woman understood perfectly, who in turn confessed that the most important thing in a relationship was that the personalities were compatible.
Moments later, the single woman showed interest in finding out more about the bachelor’s tattoos, even though she had no intention of being with someone so tattooed. ”I respect it, but what I don’t like I won’t have,” she asserted. Motorcycles were not a common topic either, since Anahí confessed that they gave her respect. ”I don’t like motorcycles. If I liked them, I would have one,” explained the Valencian.
At one point during the evening, the singles caught up on their hobbies. Anahí explained that dancing was one of his great passions and Jacobo said that what he liked most was going to the gym. In addition, the bachelor confessed that he had never been on a plane, much to the surprise of the single woman. ”Have you never taken a plane when you’re 44 years old?” Anahí said, totally shocked.
In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles moved to the program booth, where Jacobo was still convinced that Anahí was interested in him. A bubble that the single woman burst in the final decision. ”Before being with him, I become a nun.” Therefore, the Valencian was clear with her quote and assured her that she was not the profile of girl that she needed in her life.
