Several weeks after the death of María Teresa Campos, a name related to her is on everyone’s lips: that of Gustavo Guillermo, a well-known driver and close friend of the presenter for years. Despite the sad news, she was surprised that the man accepted the invitation to participate in the current edition of Big Brother VIP, where he has spoken at length about his relationship with María Teresa.
The truth, however, has now come to light. After Ainhoa, Gustavo’s partner, did not hesitate to attack Terelu and Carmen Borrego for the treatment they had with him, the TardeAR program has accessed completely unpublished images that show what the true union was between María Teresa Campos and Gustavo Guillermo.
The photographs have been obtained by Semana magazine and its director, Jorge Borrajo, was present this Friday in the space presented by Ana Rosa Quintana in the afternoons of Telecinco to reveal and comment on its content. “The images are from the last interview we did with Teresa Campos from the magazine,” he began by stating.
“I wanted to recognize him publicly, it was that time when she even came out saying ‘Gustavo, you have to go out one day, he is not my driver’ and in fact she recognized that he was the son she never had,” Borrajo continued explaining, while they appeared on the screen the photographs where both appear closer than ever.
In that interview for Semana to which its director Jorge Borrajo refers, María Teresa Campos was full of praise for her great friend Gustavo. “She said that they were her feet, that they were her hands, that she was her guardian angel… Gustavo has not been a worker for her,” he said.
In total, 34 years shared between the presenter and a driver who was much more than that for her. “He has spent more time with her than with her mother,” Borrajo stated to conclude the exhibition of the images.
