The leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, reprimanded yesterday that the project of the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, is only based on “confrontation” and that is why he is trying to bring “crispation” to the streets, something that shows his “failure” in his attempt to lead the country.
In this way and with the backdrop of the act organized today by the PP against the amnesty, the acting second vice-president defended that the country wants “understanding”, “calm down”, “dialogue” and “useful politics ” that provides solutions to society. He assured that the public does not want parties aimed at causing “noise” or focused on “tension” and that lead one part of Spain to fight with the other.
This is what he conveyed during the event “A useful project for a better country”, held in Madrid. “They want to continue living off the political conflict, the territorial confrontation, because they think that this ensures they can govern”, he reprimanded.
During his speech, Díaz emphasized that it is “clear” that Feijóo’s attempted investiture is “wasting time” in the country, with his attempt at “constitutional fraud” in which the public has been involved.
The acting vice-president also revealed that the leader of the PP has “fallen into his own trap”, since he said he was going to get support and talk to presidents of the autonomous communities but in the end “he lied”.
In this sense, he assured that PP and Vox have “no other goal” than to throw one part of Spain against the other”, i.e. a right that “only shouts, that makes noise and hates” because they are “desperate” for the its lack of country project.
However, the leader of Sumar has not only had words for the right-wing formations, she also gave a very clear warning to the PSOE and the possible government that may be armed in the coming weeks. In his opinion, the next coalition executive must maintain the anti-crisis protection measures that are working. For this reason, he warned that his project will not accept “cuts” that cause “pain” to citizens and make the country “regress”.
In this way, he pointed out that “incorrect actions” cannot be committed and that any review must be done with “calmness”, since it is vital to continue with aid to subsidize public transport and actions to protect companies and workers, including the social shield against the effects of the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
He also advocated for the abolition of the bonuses promoted by the PSOE for the purchase of housing for young people and families, which he considers an unsuccessful policy and increases speculation in housing matters. And it is that according to his opinion it is an example of “failed policies” that only abound more in “speculation”.
