The Argentine Ángel Correa, forward of Atlético de Madrid, suffers a grade I sprain in his left knee after the challenge suffered at the end of the derby against Real Madrid by the Englishman Jude Bellingham.
According to the medical report offered by the red-and-white club, the MRI that Correa underwent confirms that he suffers from “a grade I sprain of the medial collateral ligament of the knee,” which “remains pending.”
Atlético announced the news with a statement published on their networks from which various interpretations can be made. The club has attached the photo of Bellingham’s entrance to the text, perhaps denouncing that the action ended in just a yellow card despite the harshness and consequences for the red-and-white player.
The Albiceleste international, who has not yet started this campaign, replaced Uruguayan José María Giménez in the 85th minute. It was his fourth appearance of the course in the league competition, in which he has scored a goal. He also participated for a quarter of an hour in the Champions League match against Lazio in Rome.
