Mercedes Milá is one of the most recognized names on television in Spain. Since she started in 1974 on Spanish Television, her career gradually ascended, generating unforgettable moments on the small screen. From the famous “I have come to talk about my book” by Francisco Umbral in We Want to Know, her going through her fifteen years in charge of Big Brother. However, it will be on the public network that she will continue her extensive career.

RTVE officially announced the incorporation of Milá for a new interview program, titled I don’t know what you’re talking about. Zanskar Producciones will be responsible for this new format, in the same way that she did with another project by the Esplugues de Llobregat presenter: Scott y Milá. The space will maintain a line very similar to that of another project that the communicator carried out at Movistar Plus, Milá vs. Mila.

In I don’t know what you’re talking about, Mercedes Milá will be in charge of showing young Spaniards that the country in which they live has changed radically in recent years. Through the historical archive of Radiotelevisión Española, the presenter and the public will remember her most notable interviews, at the same time that she tries to understand the points of view of young society through her interventions, questions and other statements.

Each program will cover a timeless topic of general interest. Milá will interview well-known people related to the theme of the week, some of them already interviewed by the communicator and who will provide a contrast to her words. There will also be the opportunity to speak with people and positions who have never interacted with the Catalan journalist, thus opening new ranges of possibilities.

They will be segments of interviews with the public present on set. Those present will occupy different age groups and will play an active role in the course of the program. The diversity of points of view will be reflected in their speaking turns, generating opinions as disparate as Spanish society itself, according to the press release released by RTVE. At the moment, I don’t know what you’re talking about does not yet have a release date.

Milá was in charge of announcing his return to the public entity through his Instagram profile. In a short speech addressed to her followers, she highlighted that she was on Spanish Television where she began to feel excited every time the cameras started recording. Likewise, she confirmed her return along with her entire team and her colleagues at Zanskar Producciones, detailing that she was already beginning to spread the word about it.
