Tomorrow, Friday, September 29, two events will coincide in Montjuïc in which a large crowd is expected: the soccer league match between Barça and Sevilla at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium and Joaquín Sabina’s concert at the Palau Saint George. The two shows will take place at 9:00 p.m. and their coincidence will have serious effects on mobility.

The City Council, FC Barcelona, ??the Guàrdia Urbana and BSM maintain the mobility plan agreed with the club to facilitate the travel of Barça supporters to the Olympic Stadium. The measures to facilitate the arrival at the Olympic Ring provided for in the plan will also be extended to spectators of Joaquín Sabina’s concert.

At 4:00 p.m., the device will begin to restrict access by private vehicle to a large part of Montjuïc. At the points closest to the Olympic Stadium, vehicles will not be allowed to drive and in the vicinity of the Olympic Ring, an accreditation will be required to access it. For all of this, the main recommendation is the same as always: that spectators who have to attend either event travel primarily on foot, by public transport or by bicycle.

The escalators will be in operation in a reversible way, both for the going and for the return. Public transport is another recommended option, with the free shuttle bus service for people who have tickets to attend the match or concert. The device has buses that will leave from Maria Cristina and from the Fira 2 car park from two hours before the start of the game and up to an hour and a half after it ends. For its part, the Montjuïc funicular will increase the frequency of passes and the metro and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat service going to Montjuïc will be strengthened.

The City Council has enabled several parking areas for 3,500 motorbikes in the areas close to the stadium, which are located around Carrer de Font i Quer, Can Valero, Tarongers and Passeig del Migdia. Motorbikes will be able to access these parking areas without needing to have accreditation and until capacity is reached.

People who want to travel by private vehicle around Montjuïc must take into account that, from 4:00 p.m., those who go to Palau Sant Jordi by car will only be able to access and park in specially authorized areas provided they have made a prior reservation of space These reservations are limited, while supplies last, and have been made online through the link you received with your ticket to the concert. They have a single cost in terms of management expenses and it is the accreditation that they will have to show at the entrance of the assigned parking area.

Sabina fans will also be able to use the Fira 2 car park with a base rate that will allow them to leave their car up to two hours before the event and until 11.59pm. From there, they can go up Montjuïc with the free shuttle bus.
