Jessica Chastain has become the main protagonist of the San Sebastián Festival. This is the third time that the Californian actress has set foot in the film contest. She debuted in 2014 to present the film The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and she returned two years ago for the premiere of The Eyes of Tammy Faye, a role for which she won the Silver Shell for best performance.

On this occasion, the Oscar-winning actress has presented Memory, a film directed by Mexican Michel Franco and one of the most anticipated of this 71st edition. A visit in which Chastain has once again exuded sympathy and has brought the glamor of Hollywood to a red carpet that, for the moment, is a bit loose stylistically speaking.

For her big night, Jessica became The Little Mermaid with a spectacular design by Gucci, her favorite brand. A beautiful dress in the purest Mermaidcore style, one of the biggest trends of the year, which stood out for its blue gradient with thousands of embroidered paillettes.

The design had a flattering strapless neckline and combined sequins with transparencies and a side slit that revealed her metallic Aquazzura platform sandals. A creation made exclusively for her that Chastain wore with her long, loose, wavy red hair and her black-lined eyes.

The actress was already causing a sensation upon her arrival in San Sebastián with a striking yellow suit that, once again, was signed by Gucci. A set of a blazer with marked shoulder pads and high-waisted, wide pants that she wore with white platform sneakers.

A casual style that also had a powerful message. And Jessica put on the SAG-AFTRA t-shirt, the Screen Actors Guild piece with which she continued to support the strike of Hollywood actors and screenwriters, which came to an end this past Monday.
