The Urban Guard and the Animal Protection Office have rescued two dogs that were in “unsuitable” conditions at a home in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona.

As reported by the Urban Police, the owners had the animals locked up and in poor conditions in a house that had been uninhabited for years.

The police operation, carried out this Thursday, learned about the case through several neighborhood complaints. The animals, a male and a female aged 3 and 7 respectively, have been transferred to a shelter to preserve their well-being.
