The cities of Barcelona and Bilbao stand out here because, according to the study, both have 100% of the population within 15 minutes of all the services analyzed, whether on foot or by bike. In terms of proximity in time, the same points out that Barcelona, ??Valencia and Madrid have the highest percentage of their population with essential services available within a 15-minute walk. In the case of València it meets the premise by 93%; and by bicycle the figures are up to 5% different.

Murcia is, of the large cities, the one that is “a little behind” compared to its counterparts and has the lowest percentage of population within 15 minutes, only 35%, but on the other hand, by bicycle it surpasses the other cities and reaches a 26%.

The study measures six variables including, among others, whether there are nearby grocery stores, health centers, work centers, green areas that guarantee quality of life, hospitality establishments and educational centers.
