The National Police reported this Monday the details of the “complex” investigation that led to the arrest of Jurado, 62, who has been in provisional detention since Sunday by order of the Investigative Court number 9 of Malaga.
According to ‘Diario SUR’ that Sunday, the arrested person is José Jurado Montilla, alias ‘El Titi’ or ‘Dinamita Montilla’, who was sentenced to 123 years in prison for four homicides that occurred in the province of Malaga between 1985 and 1987.
If his authorship is confirmed, it would be the fifth death that weighs on the arrested man, who was released from prison in December 2013 after the ruling of the Strasbourg Court that overturned the ‘Parot doctrine’, which applied prison benefits to the entire sentence. instead of doing it on each of the penalties, the newspaper points out. José Jurado was arrested on May 4, 1987 in Álora (Málaga) by the Civil Guard for the deaths of two tourists, an Englishman and a German, who were camping in El Chorro and whose bodies were found with gunshot wounds and stab wounds. .
In addition to these homicides, he was convicted of the crime of Antonio Paniagua, 46 years old and former driver of the singer Juanito Valderrama, whose body was found semi-charred in a country house in the port of Randos, in Campanillas in March 1987.
