Civil Guard agents are investigating the stabbing death of a young man of about 30 years of age at the hands of another man, already detained, which occurred on Monday night after an argument in the Pyrenean town of Boltaña, in the province of Huesca. .

According to the first information, the argument originated inside a local bar and later continued in the town square, where the knife attack finally occurred, fatally wounding the victim.

At the moment, further details of the event are unknown, which has shocked this small municipality of just under a thousand inhabitants.

According to the local press, the victim is Francisco Urbez, son and brother of two members of La Ronda de Boltaña, a well-known group from this town that performs popular music.

The Civil Guard has confirmed the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the homicide, located near where the attack took place. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been transferred to the Forensic Anatomical Institute to perform an autopsy and determine the cause of death. The Judicial Police has taken charge of the investigations and, for now, has not provided any further information in this regard.

The events have caused a great commotion in this small town. The council has declared a day of official mourning from 12:00 p.m. this Monday until 12:00 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, and the flags on the balcony are already flying at half-mast.
