Today I would like to show in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos some images taken in Candasnos, in Huesca. We can see some almond trees with green leaves.

This situation just several days or weeks ago was completely different. This is because the place that the leaves occupy today was previously occupied by the flowers.

Candasnos, with less than 500 inhabitants, belongs to the Bajo Cinca region and is located on a plain northwest of the Mequinenza reservoir.

The white and pink flower of the almond tree that has been showing in fields like these since mid-January showing beautiful colors.

But, although there is no longer a flower, these almond trees continue to show their beauty, as can be seen in the images. In the field full of almond trees, these curious corridors are created between trees. Long corridors that contrast with reality.

I have captured the photographs in a solitary field, surrounded by other crops that have nothing to do with almond trees. This is a plantation of modest size. But, even so, no one can stop it from highlighting that beautiful green among so much brown and grayish earth.

In addition, these trees have the company and service of boxes full of bee honeycombs that help pollinate and improve the biodiversity of the environment. Without a doubt, a moment to feel in the middle of rural life.
