The rest of the ceremony passed without incident, with Spacey congratulating the festival’s creators and directors on their work; in addition to applauding and celebrating the organization’s efforts to give voice to new generations of storytellers for the big screen.
Since he was acquitted of the charges against him, Spacey seems to have decided to take a radical turn in his life. The actor already assured that he planned to resume his career, largely thanks to his loyal followers, who have been by his side in all parts of this process.
“We live in a time in which many people are afraid because if they defend me, they will be canceled,” said the actor in a recent interview, the first since he was declared acquitted; about his career, “I know there are people who right now are prepared to hire me the moment I am acquitted of these charges that I am accused of in London.
