The head of the Investigative Court number 15 of Valencia – which is investigating an alleged cover-up and the opening of a parallel investigation into the sexual abuse of a minor under guardianship by an educator, ex-husband of the former vice president of the Generalitat, Mónica Oltra – has lifted the partial secrecy of the actions that weighed on the case, after the Police Technical Operational Group analyzed more than 60,000 emails from the Oltra team and people related to the young woman at the time the events occurred.

In a separate piece, the Police have tracked the emails sent to each other by members of the former minister’s cabinet between three periods: from February 20, 2017 to March 23 of that year, from the end of July 5, 2017 to on December 1, 2017 and from October to December 2019, and with a material scope: those that contained explicit reference to the reported events. The educator was sentenced in December 2019 to five years in prison, a sentence ratified by the TSJCV and pending appeal to the Supreme Court.

In total, 48,000 on one side and 12,200 from the last period have been analyzed without indications about the actions in the department and which include documents on files in relation to the minor and the Prosecutor’s Office request on the case.

Last June, this Technical Operational Group of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of Valencia already confirmed that the emails between members of Oltra’s cabinet began on August 8, 2017, the month in which the former Minister of Equality with the Botànic declared that She learned of the court summons to her ex-husband for these events, which she learned about on the 4th.

From the first period, in which 48,000 emails were analyzed, the existence of 44 relating to the minor of the director of the center where the abuse occurred – situation, report and incidents – has been verified, and another five from the former chief of staff. of Oltra, Miquel Real, as of August 8, without any indication to be adopted regarding the case and where various documentation related to the events and the then minor was transferred, as stated in a Police letter dated August 25 of July.

The researchers emphasize that all the emails correspond to those delivered by the Generalitat officials as of October 2022, more than six years since the reported events, making it impossible to determine “whether or not there were more emails apart from those reported.” have been analyzed and that they were deleted at the time or in the more than six years that have passed since the reported events,” according to the summary, to which Europa Press has had access.

In this first period, an email is included from a technician from the Minors section of the Department addressed to the director of the center, dated September 2017, where she informs her that the lawyer needs to interview her and “Luis, the educator , separately, about the issue of Maite” and tells him that it is “very urgent” because “the pressures from the DG are insistent.”

In another letter, dated September 5, the Police confirmed, as of the last quarter of 2019, the existence of four emails related to the case of the director of the juvenile center; 21 of the former territorial director of Valencia with Oltra, Carmen Fenollosa; 22 from the former general director of Children, Rosa Molero, and five from Miquel Real, all from December.

They are related to writings from the Prosecutor’s Office, the information or protection file for the minor and the Police also indicate that they refer to emails sent and received more than three years ago and it is equally impossible to determine if there were more apart from these and that they were deleted in its moment or in this period of time.

In the case, the magistrate investigates Oltra and 15 other people, including technicians and officials of the Ministry, for an alleged parallel investigation in the department he directed regarding the case of sexual abuse of a minor under the guardianship of the Generalitat by the ex-husband of the former vice president, social educator.

In his statement before the judge, Oltra, who resigned as a result of his accusation, denied that he ordered the opening of this parallel investigation to the judicial one and stated that he found out about the abuses on August 4, 2017, when he received a judicial notification at his home. , with which he assured that he was unaware of the work that the technicians of his department had been doing since the previous February, when the victim, who was 14 years old at the time, reported the events.

The separate piece about these emails was opened following a letter from the Gobierna-Te Association, from the former leader of Vox Cristina Seguí, which asked to find out who the members of Oltra’s Ganienete were and the incorporation of the email communications that they could maintain. with each other and with the head of the Cabinet. Subsequently, a second was opened regarding emails between two former senior officials of Equality: Enrique Alcocer, and the former regional secretary Alberto Ibáñez.
