The Ombudsman of Compromís, Joan Baldoví, and the deputy spokesperson, Isaura Navarro, came out this Friday in defense of their party colleague and former vice president of the Consell, Mónica Oltra, after it became known on Thursday that the police had not found 50,000 emails indicate that Oltra was hiding her ex-husband’s abuse. Information that, according to coalition spokespersons “evidence that Oltra and her team have always told the truth.”

As Baldoví explained in a statement, “as we have always repeated from Compromís, in all of this there were many interests behind it to eliminate the great political rival of the right, but the truth is coming to light.”

For his part, Navarro has pointed out that “once again it is evident with all the evidence that everything has been a setup. He is unworthy of the President of the Generalitat who supports this setup in his public interventions.”

Along these lines, Navarro demands that Carlos Mazón “be worthy of the position he occupies and stop lying to the citizens, because he has also met face to face with Mónica Oltra and knows perfectly well that all this is a big lie.”
