The social entities of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre have served 87,423 people in 2022, according to data from the barometer of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia.
It is the first time that the number of users accompanied by the Tarragona associations has been quantified, as well as the number of care provided, around 141,000.
As a result of the pandemic and subsequent economic crises, professionals in the sector have also noted an increase in complexity when serving users, as they arrive “with an increasingly heavier backpack.”
This situation forces professionals to provide “more intense over time and transversal” support.
