Vince McMahon’s Attorney Responds to Stay in Trafficking Lawsuit at Request of US Government
The allegations brought forward by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon have severely damaged his reputation as a business magnate. Claims of **sex trafficking** and **sexual abuse** have overshadowed McMahon’s legacy as a central figure in the entertainment world. In response to McMahon’s recent memorandum seeking arbitration in the Grant v. WWE et al. case, Grant’s legal team issued short but pointed rebuttal. McMahon’s motion to compel arbitration, which seeks to counter Grant’s allegations of **sexual abuse** and coercion, elicited a prompt response from Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis. As previously reported, an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York has officially entered the Grant v. WWE, McMahon, Laurinaitis case. The lawsuit has been temporarily halted pending a confidential investigation. In a recent statement provided to Wrestlenomics by Vince McMahon’s attorney, Jessica Rosenberg, she expressed confidence in their defense and stated that Grant’s allegations are false.
“We remain confident the evidence will prove Ms. Grant’s allegations are false and her complaint is nothing more than a fabricated, vindictive narrative from a disgruntled former girlfriend.”
In a further twist, WWE has joined McMahon in filing motion to compel arbitration, but as the case is currently on hold, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of findings the US Government will get as things do not look good for Vince McMahon at the moment.
