In the last few hours, new testimony has been added to the case of Daniel Sancho after allegedly murdering and dismembering Edwin Arrieta. We are talking about, as And Now Sonsoles revealed this Monday, about Viviana Ordosgoitia, one of the best friends of the Colombian surgeon and one of the people who had a last conversation with the Spanish chef after the crime.
In fact, the Antena 3 Television program exclusively revealed the messages that Viviana exchanged with Sancho when he had not yet gone to file a disappearance report and was at the hotel, in addition to once he was arrested.
Viviana Ordosgoitia is the person who contacted Daniel Sancho 36 hours after the chef murdered and dismembered Edwin Arrieta, as he confessed to the Thai police, and before confessing to the crime. She is the best friend of the Colombian woman who, desperate, tried to find out the whereabouts of the surgeon.
First, the young woman explained how the victim and perpetrator met: “He [Arrieta] starts coming to Madrid. For a year now I have been hearing his name and I remember things like he was a chef and I wanted to start a business with him or I was in the process of doing so.”
In fact, Viviana confirmed the information that her friend “wanted to come to Madrid and approve his surgeon degree. “At least a month and a half or two months before, she was planning this trip with Daniel to go to Thailand.” Such was the close contact between Daniel and Edwin that, when the surgeon disappears, Viviana immediately contacts the Spaniard.
“I tell him: ‘Daniel, understand the anguish we have. I need you to go to the police and the hospital and look for Edwin, this is not normal,’” he stated in the Antena 3 program. To which the Spaniard responded with: “They have me detained asking me questions instead of go looking for it. “If it wasn’t because I went to the police, no one would be doing anything.”
However, both Viviana and the rest of Edwin Arrieta’s loved ones began to suspect Daniel when they called him and his behavior was strange. “He sounded agitated, water was heard, noise was heard…” stated the young woman, who now thinks, after knowing what happened, that at that moment she caught him cleaning the crime scene.
For the first time, And now Sonsoles accesses the full conversation between Viviana and Sancho, where the messages that the Spaniard sent him once Edwin Arrieta was murdered stand out.
