On Saturday morning, Hamas terrorists stormed the Kfar Aza kibbutz next to the Gaza Strip and murdered in cold blood 40 young children who were sleeping together in the children’s ward. This has been confirmed to La Vanguardia by both the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among the dead are several babies. Another 15 children have disappeared and the official sources we have been able to contact believe that they are also most likely dead.

Kfar Aza is five kilometers from the Gaza fence. About 800 people lived there. Dozens died at the hands of Islamist militants and many others were kidnapped.

The assault occurred at dawn, around six-thirty in the morning. The Israeli troops did not arrive until around ten. The battle lasted several hours. At the end, when the army broke the Hamas resistance, the paths that connect the houses and the gardens that surround them were full of corpses. Dozens of kibbutzin lost their lives.

The militiamen passed through there on their way to Sderot, a city where they have been entrenched until yesterday.
