The Investigative Court number 39 of Madrid is investigating a sexual assault that took place in the toilets of the Kapital nightclub, located on Atocha Street in Madrid. As reported by El Independiente after having access to the documentation of the case, the victim would be a 20-year-old American girl.
The complaint was registered after a night in which the victim “flashes.” At the moment, the Police suspect a 48-year-old man, although the local cameras could not clearly identify him.
The events took place on the night of September 10, when a girl—who studies in Madrid—went with three friends to Kapital. Before she agreed, the young woman had drunk two drinks and within it she took two shots and ordered a third drink that she did not drink.
The medical report carried out at the 12 de Octubre Hospital reflected that the young woman had neither medication nor narcotic substances in her body, which is why investigators suggest that the victim could have been subjected to a chemical attack.
The girl, according to the complaint, separated from her friends and went to the bathroom on the first floor. Seeing that she did not return, her companions left, thinking that she had also gone home.
It was not so. The girl does not remember when she met the man, nor having spoken to him nor kissed him. What she does remember is what happened next: “encountering this man inside the bathroom, she tried to get out but he wouldn’t let her. He pushed her against the wall and approached her. He put on a condom and penetrated her.” vaginally against her will,” reveals the police report reported by El Independiente.
After the attack, the young woman recounts remembering being in a red car with two men in front and sitting behind with another. In the end, she doesn’t know how, she managed to keep the ID of one of the men in the vehicle, although she lost her belongings.
Despite this, he managed to call his house’s doorman and return home. It was then, after waking up the next morning, when she told her memories of him to her companions and roommates and went to the hospital.
The Police, through documentation, are investigating a 48-year-old man of Argentine nationality whom the agents have been searching for for almost a month.
In addition, they have also requested footage from the Kapital nightclub’s security cameras, although it claims it does not have them.
