Tesla has put its cheapest vehicle on sale in Spain, although it is not a car for driving on the road. In fact, even adults can’t handle it. This is the children’s version of the Cyberquad, a model that could be seen for the first time during the presentation of the Cybertruck electric pick-up at the end of 2019. Then there was talk that Elon Musk intended to launch this ATV quadricycle on the market (All Terrain Vehicle) for two people but, at the moment, it is neither available nor expected. In December 2021, it began marketing the children’s variant in the United States and now, almost two years later, it does so in our country.

Although it is a children’s vehicle, which can be driven from the age of 8, it is hardly a toy, that is, it has little in common with those plastic examples that can be used by younger children. As detailed by the brand in its technical sheet, this car has a frame made entirely of steel, a padded seat, rear suspension with a rear disc brake system and LED light bars. Its design is inspired by the brand’s electric pickup truck, whose commercialization has been delayed for years.

Equipped with a 350W motor, it can reach a maximum speed of 13km/h, which can be adjusted downwards. In reverse gear you can travel up to 6 km/h. The 24 V, 188 Wh lithium-ion battery offers a range of 19 kilometers. In any case, this figure will depend on several factors, such as the weight of the user (the vehicle can hold up to 68 kilos), the type of terrain on which it travels and the driving style (the faster the pace, the less autonomy). When the battery is completely depleted, it takes about five hours to fully charge it. You just have to plug it into a household outlet.

The price of the Cyberquad in Spain is 1,990 euros, a figure that may be high for many families considering that it is a product for children to play with. In fact, for a little more you can buy some 125 mopeds and scooters in our country. Shipments will begin within 2 to 4 weeks.
