Ana Mena filled the set of El Hormiguero with rhythm tonight. She attended the program to present her latest single, Madrid City, but she took advantage of the visit to open up again with Pablo Motos. The last time she attended the program she was especially sincere and tonight she was no less.
The artist has acknowledged that she leaked her new single on the same night she composed it. She wrote it in July 2023 in Los Angeles and at midnight she already had the demo recorded. “At midnight in Los Angeles I sent the Dropbox link to my friends” so they could give her their opinion. “They answered me super euphoric.”
Ana Mena has acknowledged that “when things get me excited I can’t contain myself” and because of the enthusiasm she had for how much her friends had liked the song “it occurs to me to take screenshots of the conversations and upload them to stories without covering the Dropbox link”.
The publication was viewed for 10 minutes, which gave time for “many people” to listen to it, according to the singer. To prevent her from continuing to be published, she deleted her Instagram story. “I had to contact fan groups so they wouldn’t publish it”
It seems that “they were very respectful”, but the singer has confessed that “I didn’t stop it very well. Although Ana Mena has confessed that “it was a tremendous brown,” her naturalness and passion for her work give her away. And, speaking of the subject, she answered “I have to talk to Alejandro Sanz tonight.”
Although he did not want to say anything more about the subject, everything seems to indicate that there could be a possible collaboration between the two artists.
