Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he is closer to his fans than they could ever imagine. The actor has always admitted to being delighted that Harry Potter, the character that made him famous, has been part of the youth of so many people and has helped them develop his talents.

Including, of course, creativity, whichever way you go. As many will know, fans of the saga often write fictional stories of their own invention based on the characters created by J.K. Rowling, and one of the most recurring themes is the possible love story between two of its protagonists: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. Well, Daniel Radcliffe has confessed that he has also read those comics.

The actor, 34 years old and recently became a father for the first time with his partner, actress Erin Darke; He was attending Vanity Fair’s popular Lie Detector series to present his new film, Merry We Roll Along, along with his co-stars Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, when he had to answer a few questions related to the famous boy wizard.

Among others, if he had ever searched himself on Google, or if he had ever read any of the stories that his followers had written about him on the Internet. The protagonist of the magical saga answered yes to both questions, detailing the second in a fun way: he has read several stories, all of them related to love stories between his character and Draco Malfoy, played by Tom Felton.

“I know there’s a lot of joy in seeing Harry and Draco as characters together, so I’ve read some of that,” the actor explained.

A few weeks ago, the actor also spoke about how he felt about another performer stepping into the shoes of the character that gave him worldwide fame. Warner Bros. announced last April that it approved the television series project based on the popular novels by J.K. Rowling, and Daniel Radcliffe will not return as Harry Potter.

“Harry Potter was always destined to become someone like Sherlock Holmes,” he confessed in an interview with Deadline, “It will happen to someone. The life of some eight-year-old boy out there now will change in a couple of years.”
