Marta Pombo and Luis Zamalloa are about to live one of the most special days of their lives. The middle of the Pombo sisters and the father of her daughter Matilda will say ‘I do’ on Saturday, October 21, surrounded by their family and friends in a celebration that will not lack details.
A very special date, as it coincides with the first birthday of the couple’s daughter, Matilda, who will also have a leading role in the wedding, which will take place at La Borda del Mentidero, the trendy restaurant for special events in Madrid.
Since it opened a few years ago, La Borda del Mentidero has become one of the influencers’ favorite places to celebrate their most special occasions. About 200 guests will gather there, half on the groom’s side from his homeland, the Basque Country; and the other half from the bride, with her family and friends. To organize the event, the couple has had the help of wedding planner Martina por el Norte.
The civil ceremony and lunch will be held there. The couple has given a very special role to their daughter Matilda and her nephews, Martín and Vega – children of María Pombo, who will be dressed in Atelier de La Nonna -, who will undoubtedly star in some of the most emotional moments of the celebration. . Afterwards, the couple and their guests will enjoy a great party, entertained by DJ Quike González de Vega, a great friend of the Pombo sisters.

Precisely her older sister has been one of her great supports in the wedding preparations. He went with her to undergo fittings for two of her wedding dresses, signed by Jorge Redondo. “She is beautiful… crying. How heavy it is when you see Marta dressed as a bride. I have never seen you so beautiful. I swear. You make me very envious, I want to go like this,” María Pombo said on her Instagram profile, between tears .
A test that almost ended in disaster, as the influencer shared some images of the emotional moment in which the two sisters showed Marta’s bridal style, and almost revealed it to her more than three million followers by mistake. So far, it is only known that the bride will wear a dress from the Redondo Brand, halter style, sleeveless. About Luis’s suit, nothing is known about it.
The couple did show what their invitations looked like, with the bride and groom’s initials, decorated with floral motifs and a red Camper van. A design by Clara Susanna, who already made the invitations for María’s wedding.
This will be the second wedding for the Madrid native, who already married Luis Giménez in 2019, after seven years of relationship. A marriage that barely lasted a year, stained by the shadow of infidelity and that was an emotional setback for the Madrid woman, who fell into a deep depression from which she managed to recover, precisely thanks to Zamalloa.
“It’s something I didn’t expect. I thought I had my life already on track, but that’s how life is,” said Marta Pombo after introducing Zamalloa for the first time. “This person has arrived who gives me so much peace, that I have finally found that inner peace of mine.”
