Jorge Javier Vázquez is not going through his best moment. The Mediaset presenter has had a complicated season in terms of everything related to his professional career. On June 23 he finished Sálvame forever, after fourteen years at the foot of the canyon in the afternoons of Telecinco.
But despite the initial setback, it seemed that the new management of the audiovisual group trusted the presenter again. Weeks after the end of Sálvame, Mediaset gave the green light to a new television space to compete against Pablo Motos in prime time access, Cuentos Chinos.
But Mediaset’s move, with which they intended to dethrone the all-powerful El Hormiguero, turned out worse than expected and three weeks later, the audiovisual group decided to put an end to the entertainment space. The cancellation was a new blow for the presenter, who assured on his social networks that they did not know how to dazzle the viewers.
”I came to the neighborhood ready to stay for a long time, but the rents are through the roof! It has not been. From here my most sincere congratulations to Pablo Motos, Carlos Sobera and Wyoming,’ he wrote on his social networks. Weeks after what happened, the presenter reappeared at the wedding of Isa Pantoja and Asraf Beno on October 13, where he served as godfather to Isabel Pantoja’s daughter.
The presenter wanted to be next to the television collaborator on one of her most important days. Something that neither her mother, Isabel Pantoja, nor her brother, Kiko Rivera, did, as they preferred to stay away from the festivities.
Now, a week after the big celebration, the news that has emerged about the presenter is far from good. According to El Español, Jorge Javier Vázquez had to go urgently this Monday, October 23, to the Sanitas La Zarzuela hospital in Madrid due to a health problem.
According to sources close to the aforementioned media, the presenter would be suffering from a serious ailment in his left arm. An illness that the presenter has suffered over the years. And in 2010, Vázquez had to undergo surgery, after a fall in the shower, for a fracture of the coronoid process, the upper part of the radius and the protuberance of the elbow bone.
After the intervention, the presenter had to go to the set of Sálvame with his arm in a cast. Therefore, this new ailment in his arm would be related to the injury he suffered then.
