This autumn morning there were clouds and virgas at dawn on the coast of Badalona, ??but the sky quickly cleared up with the sunrise.

Furthermore, the temperatures on the seashore were mild and, although the water was altered, it was not cold, but rather suitable for swimming, scenes that I have portrayed for La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.

It must be taken into account that if a curtain of precipitation reaches the surface, it is called Praecipitatio (this is a supplementary feature of the clouds, since they start from them).

On the other hand, when this precipitation evaporates and disappears before reaching the ground, it is called virga, as in this case off the coast of Badalona.

The waves were at times furious as they hit the rocks on the coast, but you can also see moments of calm in the images. And if the water temperature is good, the autumn bath does not hurt, quite the opposite.
