There are things that generate a great debate on social networks, and one of them, without a doubt, is Spanish food. Among other culinary delights of national cuisine, one of the most popular foods globally is Iberian ham.

The presentation, quality or even how much you pay for serrano ham can generate all kinds of debates on networks, and this has been demonstrated by the @soycamarero account on X (formerly Twitter).

The tweet. The popular Soycamarero X account, intended to share anecdotes from the world of hospitality, has published an image of a receipt that has gone viral on social media.

“Let’s open a debate about what you think of the price, they are two half toasts as you see in the photo, €3.40 each” says the profile, showing the receipt for this classic Spanish breakfast, as well as a photograph of the toasts in question.

Top comments. In a few hours, the tweet has gone viral with all kinds of comments about it: “For pre-cooked bread and serrano ham that comes in slices in packages, very expensive,” adds one user, while another defends the establishment: “6, “80 for a Serrano ham sandwich today is not crazy. But of course, the presentation leaves a lot to be desired and the bread is stiff in 1 hour.” The debate is served.
