A video published by the Twitter account for animal lovers, @dodo, has gone viral after showing an incredible scene, in which a group of students rescues a leopard from drowning in a well.
The leopard was found by a group of residents of an Indian town in a 15-meter well, near a local school. Those present could not believe how he could have gotten there, but they decided to act quickly to save his life.
Those present threw a wooden board and a rope for the leopard to climb up, but the animal was exhausted after having been swimming for hours: “It was not strong enough,” they say in statements reported by The Dodo.
Luckily, the rescue team arrived in time: “They quickly threw a cage into the well, allowing the leopard to be safe,” says the profile for the animals. After the rescue, the leopard was moved to a safe location, but the story does not end there.
A few months later, the rescue team received an unexpected call: a leopard had been left inside a school. After hours of work, they were able to take him to a medical center to treat his wounds with a natural agent: turmeric.
In a matter of days, the video has gone viral, accumulating more than 100 thousand views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been excited to hear this story: “Thank you very much to the team. You all did a great job. Much Love” or “Poor leopard. You would think that the leopard could easily climb those rocks,” were some of the most popular comments.
