The death of businessman Fernando Fernández Tapias at the age of 84 has left his family and loved ones in shock. Although at first the reason for his death was not disclosed and it was only explained to the press that the veteran entrepreneur had different coronary problems, a reporter from the team of Ana Rosa Quintana’s program explained yesterday in TardeAR that he had suffered a heart attack, as well as The presenter made it clear that he had been a happy and very “cared for” man: “I have not met a more cared for person. In 2021, they tried to incapacitate his father without success, something that Fernández Tapias never forgave them. “He did not want to have them at his funeral and he left it in writing,” said sources close to the deceased.

As explained in the previously mentioned Telecinco program, those close to Fefé and his wife only wanted to carry out his will: ”The widow only wanted her husband’s will to be respected and has tried to prevent them from entering the coffin room. . He left in writing that he did not want his older children at his funeral.” It has also been learned that the wreath of flowers they bought were removed from the scene.
The family dispute began when the businessman dismissed his three oldest children from their positions in the family businesses in favor of another of his children and González. After a tough legal battle in which the descendants asked for total incapacitation, Tapias won, but agreed to partial incapacitation and for his wife and a partner to control his medical and legal-administrative decisions.
