Mini mobile homes are a very interesting alternative for those people who seek to live as integrated as possible into nature. Without requiring large plots of land and usually made with natural materials, they offer a unique, original and welcoming habitat that also has the advantage of being able to be moved to another environment whenever desired.

In this rising sector, each of the tiny houses designed by the prestigious French manufacturer Baluchon presents an unmistakable style where tradition, craftsmanship and simplicity merge with modern comfort. Likewise, each of them has its own special charm and characteristics.

The Ostara is one of the most attractive Baluchon mini-houses considered rustic cabins. It represents an example of exquisite manual work and ingenious interior design. It is both a cozy family home and a home that seems straight out of a fairy tale. And it offers adequate thermal insulation for all seasons of the year.

Like most Baluchon designs, the Ostara is not very large. It is only six meters long, but its beautiful configuration and distinctive style make it appear as spacious and welcoming as the best traditional houses. It has capacity for two or three people.

At first glance, its sophisticated exterior details attract attention, inspired by the warmth and charm of traditional wooden cabins. The large circular window located at one end of the house gives it a mysterious air. Its front main entrance, highlighted by a white frame, comes with a removable canopy that protects against the sun and inclement weather.

Together with the small front terrace and set of steps, this canopy turns the entrance of the Ostara into a welcoming transition area, connecting the interior of the tiny house with the surrounding landscape.

It has a somewhat unusual interior design compared to many contemporary-style tiny houses. Unlike most, it is not the kitchen, but a spacious living room that occupies the center of the cabin. In fact, its kitchen is surprisingly compact. Instead, a large space has been created to enjoy a generous living room and a charming rustic-style dining room.

The key piece in the living room is the large sofa that also serves as a bed. This way the space can be used as an additional bedroom. Various dividers between the living room and dining room make the latter become an intimate space full of charm. It includes a large table with two seats, plenty of storage space built into the staircase and a wood-burning fireplace.

The kitchen is practical and functional, containing the basics in terms of storage, cabinets and appliances. It also has a small countertop and a mini fridge integrated into the furniture. Despite its small size, the kitchen is also charming, especially due to the treatment of the wood.

If the Ostara stands out for something, it is for its craftsmanship. From the red cedar wood exterior with a UV-resistant finish to the fir wood floor and walls, the home is a masterpiece of carpentry. In addition, the furniture is made of oak and spruce and contributes to giving it the overall traditional and cozy feel.

The bathroom is modern, practical and modest. It also features wooden walls, minimalist shelves and an eco-friendly toilet, as well as a medium-sized shower with glass doors.

An angled staircase connects the main floor with the upstairs bedroom, which has a mesh wall to offer greater privacy. A double bed takes advantage of the entire width of the room, which receives natural light from the windows on both sides. This space is perfectly ventilated and also has a privileged view of the landscape through the circular window.
