The City Council of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat has begun work to adapt what will be the new headquarters of the LGTBI municipal office, as reported by the Consistory this Tuesday through a statement. The new premises are located on the ground floor of a housing block on Sanfeliu Street and have 121 square meters.

The work consists of “enabling the premises with open spaces that allow multipurpose and independent activities” so that in this way the enclave can “host workshops, exhibitions or talks”, among other initiatives. Currently, the LGTBI municipal office is located in the Sanfeliu council office.

There, among other information, “guidance and psychosocial support in cases of discrimination or LGTBIphobia” and also “information on changing the name on the health card” and other issues of interest to the group are provided.

According to the Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council in its statement, the project to adapt the new premises involves an investment of 171,787 euros. The execution period for the works that have now begun is half a year.
