The youth Division of Honor match in the Basque Country that ended in a “pitched battle”, in the words of the referee of the match, has already triggered the first complaints. Both the Local Police of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Ertzaintza have already received two complaints after the match between Lakua and Indautxu, after a hundred people were involved in the aforementioned pitched battle.

The complaints that have been filed at the moment are “for minor coercion”, before the Local Police, and for insults, reported at the time of the events and before urban guard agents, who identified the alleged aggressor.

During yesterday’s day, the two clubs involved condemned the events and placed themselves “at the disposal of the competent entities, with the intention of clarifying all responsibilities.” In addition, the local team, CD Lakua, assured that it will provide the images it has “with the intention that these events will not be repeated again.”

The referee of the match recorded in the subsequent minutes that the match ended with “a pitched battle” between a hundred people.

Likewise, during the fight the visiting team’s goalkeeper was attacked with a punch in the eye and before the match ended the referee expelled the father of an Indautxu player from the facilities “for insults.”

The Ertzaintza had to escort the referee to “avoid greater evils”, as the referee wrote in his report.
