The president of the Lleida Provincial Council, Joan Talarn, celebrated this Friday that the railway highway projected by Adif, which would connect the Mediterranean axis with Zaragoza, has generated the interest of the ports of Tarragona and Barcelona due to “the high logistical capacity.” that it grants to Lleida.

This has been one of the points discussed in the commuter commission of the provincial entity this Friday.

At the meeting, the Government’s subdelegate, José Crespín, encouraged the territory’s agents to express their “will and capacity” to transport goods through the road.

On the other hand, the Minister of Territory, Ester Capella, has said that the Lleida-Manresa line will receive four million euros from the State and has added that she hopes that in May frequencies will have been doubled in the first section.
