This Friday, Seville hosted the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards. There were many national and international artists who traveled to the Andalusian capital to attend the great event, as was the case of Shakira, Karol G, Alejandro Sanz, Maluma, Pablo Alborán or Rosalía, among many others. Precisely, the latter was in charge of opening the gala, performing the iconic song Se nos roto el amor by the great Rocío Jurado. The Catalan showed off her great voice and managed to thrill the audience. However, it was not the only great moment that the singer of songs like Saoko or Malamente starred in, since in a social media video we can see her dancing backstage.
Rosalía has once again demonstrated why she has earned the affection of the public worldwide. The artist from Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona) not only enjoys a privileged voice and a stage presence comparable to that of the great international divas, but she has also demonstrated that her naturalness is one of her qualities. It is not the first time that Rosalía stars in a scene that is most talked about on social networks due to her spontaneity, so her festive attitude backstage at the renowned awards has not surprised anyone.
In some images shared by the @rausalia account on X, formerly Twitter, the artist appears backstage with her security team when several musicians begin to shout her name while they begin to clap. It is at that moment when the Como un G interpreter joins the party and begins to dance like a true flamenco. “I’ll clap your hands now and you’ll dance,” the Catalan girl finishes, laughing, joking with the musicians before leaving.
There are many followers of the artist and Internet users who have commented on this moment. “An icon if you ask me,” says a user on X. “She is unique”; “Brava! Genius and figure”; “This woman does everything in a big way” or “she is pure art” are some of the comments that can be read on social networks. There are also those who have wanted to highlight her artistic gifts. “Say what they say, but I have listened to flamenco artists because Rosalía introduced me to this genre,” said one tweeter.
As we said, it is not the first time that the Catalan woman leaves a moment to remember because of her naturalness. During her Motomami tour, which passed through some of the most prominent venues in our country in the summer of 2022, the Catalan became a trend on social networks on several occasions. For example, at her concert in Valencia she declared herself an unconditional fan of horchata and starred in a most tender moment with a fan.
During the performance of the song Last night, a boy shouted how much he admires his idol. “I love you!!”, he repeated twice. The singer, very natural and very excited, responded with a euphoric “me to you too.” The moment went viral on networks. Be that as it may, if one thing is clear, it is that Rosalía has earned the public’s affection. One of our most international artists enjoyed a night full of music and good vibes in Seville, as the backstage video demonstrates.
