This Thursday was a very significant day for Pedro Sánchez. The socialist candidate was once again elected President of the Government with 179 votes in favor. A historic moment that his wife, Begoña Gómez, did not want to miss, who demonstrated once again that she is the politician’s best support.

Gómez was very emotional after Sánchez’s re-election, even the cameras captured some tears after learning the final result. Proud and always in the background, Sánchez’s wife celebrated her husband’s victory after several weeks of intense meetings to get the votes.

In addition, he winked at the president with his look. As he had already done on Wednesday, he opted to wear socialist red in support of Sánchez. A tone that was present on Thursday in an original garment signed by Zara, one of the Spanish brands that he usually wears regularly.

Gómez debuted a short jacket, with a lapel collar and long sleeves with shoulder pads, which added a vibrant touch to her casual style. A piece with front tablet detail and front closure with hidden snap buttons, which is part of the latest collection of the Inditex flagship and costs 49.95 euros.

The “Begoña effect” has already been noticed in the Zara online store, where this short blazer is practically sold out. There are very few units of sizes M and L left and the rest of the sizes are no longer available on the website – perhaps in physical stores – and the company proposes similar designs.

Gómez combined this low-cost piece with a round-neck knit sweater and black pants to give the jacket prominence. He also wore his blonde hair straight and with his characteristic bangs.
