A hotel can be many things, but in the case of Barcelona, ??due to its history and architectural wealth, it has all the qualities of also being a monument. This is what the “Routes through the Monument Hotels of Barcelona” intend to disseminate, which will celebrate its second edition from November 22 to 26.
The action, organized by the Gremi d’Hotels of Barcelona in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council, allows citizens and visitors to see first-hand the spaces of some of the 20 hotels in Barcelona that are currently classified as “Monument”. This distinction, awarded by the Gremi, recognizes those establishments that provide added value to the architectural and historical heritage of the Catalan capital.
During those days, each of the 15 participating hotels organizes four free guided tours of their most emblematic spaces in small groups. Visiting days, times and contact email to reserve places can be consulted at mesqhotels.cat and also in the Diskover application.
Some of the hotels participating in the Monument Hotels Routes offer to enjoy their gastronomic offer after the visit. Le Méridien Barcelona offers a €35 menu; The Iberostar Selection Paseo de Gracia offers a dinner at its restaurant Ca’s Menestral for €24.95; the Mercer Hotel Barcelona opts for a selection of tapas at the Le Bouchon bistro for €18 and the Hotel Miramar Barcelona and the Gran Hotel La Florida offer a 10% discount for those who stay for dinner.
