There are only six days left until the traditional magnetic banknotes in cardboard format cease to exist. Starting next November 28, the T-Usual, T-Casual, T-Grup and T-Familiar cards will be exclusively part of the T-Mobilitat.
Of course, to make the change in a more gradual way, the ATM will put two types of T-Mobilitat cards on sale: the original hard plastic or digital card for the smartphone, on which all titles can be recharged, or Failing that, the new hard cardboard card, which will have two versions: the anonymous one, in which only the T-Casual, T-Grup and T-Familiar can be recharged or the individual version, in the case of the T-Usual. . In this way there will be four different T-Mobilitat formats.
To get the hard plastic or digital card on a smartphone, you must first register in the T-Mobilitat system on its website or mobile application. If the digital version is requested, a payment of 1 euro will have to be made, only when obtaining the card, and if the plastic card is requested, 4.50 euros will have to be paid.
Once either of the two versions has been chosen, the user will be able to recharge all transport tickets as many times as they want at their usual prices, both in the same application and in the self-sale machines at train, metro and tram stations.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to opt for one of the two new cardboard T-Mobilitat formats, it will not be necessary to register on the website or in the application. Of course, it will be necessary to specify whether an anonymous card is chosen, only for T-Casual, T-Grup and T-Familiar, or the individual card, available for T-Usual.
The two cards will have a price of 0.50 euros and can be obtained from November 28 at self-sale machines at train, metro and tram stations. The ATM has also confirmed that in the future these two cards can also be purchased at tobacconists and kiosks.
