The rapeseed field is in its maximum splendor, but, at the time of taking these photographs for The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia, the geese were passing by, which have remained in the foreground and the Castell de Tona in the background.

Of the old Castell de Tona, only a defense tower remains, sitting directly on the rock. What is very attractive from many sides is the mountain where the castle and the church of Sant Andreu are located, very well preserved.

Geese begin laying eggs at approximately 8-10 months of age; chicks are usually born between February and June after 28-29 days of incubation.

Rapeseed can be profitable and, precisely, Osona is the Catalan region with the largest extensions of this crop, which is used to produce fodder and biodiesel.

Nowadays, in addition, the mechanization of work in the field has made the process of harvesting rapeseed faster and more productive.
