The Court has reached this conclusion after understanding that the testimony of the injured party is “firm, credible, coherent and persistent” over time and has been corroborated, among other elements, by the expert reports and statements in the trial of three psychologists to whom he reported the sexual assaults.
The ruling establishes compensation in favor of the victim of 14,000 euros for the moral and psychological damages suffered. As a result of the events, the young woman suffers a serious
post-traumatic stress disorder. The prisoner will not be able to approach or communicate with her for 18 years and will not be able to practice a profession, trade or activities that involve regular and direct contact with minors for a period of 21 years.
