Ángel Cristo Jr. has become one of the great protagonists of today in the world of the heart of our country. Bárbara Rey’s son gave an interview last Friday on the new Telecinco program, De Friday!, where he wanted to open up about some of the darkest moments in his life. Some words that did not leave either the star or her daughter, Sofía Cristo, in a good position.
Since then, the Cristo Rey family has been involved in a series of controversies after the harsh testimony of Ángel Cristo last Friday. During the interview, he spoke openly about all the addiction problems that existed in his house and how his relationship with his parents forever marked his childhood.
“The Moraleja house was a nightmare. There was fear, terror and blood. Everything came and went in that house: drugs, alcohol, prostitutes,” he said. Asisimis, the son of the tamer and the star confessed that his parents arrived to exploit it in the circus from a very young age.
”I don’t remember nice moments with them, but I do remember arguments at the circus,” he noted. ”When I was only 5 years old they put me to work as an elephant tamer (…) My parents put money in an account. Money that didn’t reach me. The reality is that when necessary they used it for whatever (…) They were not able to educate their children as it should be,” he asserted.
But this testimony has not caught anyone by surprise, since many will remember how Ángel and Sofía Cristo’s nanny, Ana Cano, commented in public on these same situations several years ago.
It all happened more than ten years ago, when Ana Cano gave a series of interviews to the media, in which she claimed that the real problem in the marriage was drugs. The nanny witnessed how Ángel Cristo mistreated Bárbara Rey and how one day she even threatened her with a gun. ”Before they were very happy, but the problems began with drugs,” she asserted.
