This Wednesday afternoon, the plenary session of the Tarragona City Council approved the budget for 2024 with the support of the government team (PSC) and the opposition groups of ERC, Junts per Catalunya and En Comú Podemos Tarragona. PP and VOX have voted against.
The accounts, which may come into force on January 1, amount to 263 million euros, 12.8 million more than this year, and contemplate investments worth 21 million, the highest figure in the history of the consistory.
Exceptionally, the plenary session was held in the Tarragona Provincial Council due to works on the municipal palace.
