Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh has announced that his new movie, “Double iSmart,” starring Telugu actor Ram Pothineni, will hit theaters on Independence Day, August 15th. The film, produced by Puri Connects, will be released in five languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
“Double iSmart” is a sequel to the 2019 sci-fi action film “iSmart Shankar,” which was a collaboration between Pothineni and Jagannadh. The story revolves around an assassin who assists the police after receiving the memories of a deceased officer.
In addition to Ram Pothineni, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, known for his recent appearance in the Tamil film “Leo,” will also be featured in the cast of “Double iSmart.” The music for the movie has been composed by Mani Sharma.
